Complejo Arqueológico de Tipón
A 25 km al sureste de la ciudad del Cusco (45 minutos en auto), a 3 316 msnm. Su acceso es a través de la vía asfaltada Cusco-Puno, tomando un desvío asfaltado a la altura del km 20,5.
Según las leyendas, Tipón es uno de los jardines reales que ordenó construir Wiracocha. Está conformado por doce terrazas flanqueadas por muros de piedra perfectamente pulidos y enormes andenes, canales y caídas de agua ornamentales que, con la flora del lugar, ofrecen al visitante un impresionante paisaje. El sitio está compuesto por diferentes sectores: Tipón propiamente dicho, Intiwatana, Pukutuyuj y Pucará, Cruz Moqo, el cementerio de Pitopujio, Hatun Wayq´o, entre otros.

According to legends, Tipon is one of the royal gardens that Wiracocha ordered to be built. It is made up of twelve terraces flanked by perfectly polished stonewalls and enormous agricultural terraces, canals, and decorative waterfalls that, along with the native flowers of the area, offers the visitor a stunning vision. The site is composed of different sectors: Tipon itself, Intiwatana, Pukutuyuj and Pucará, Cruz Moqo, the cemetery of Pitopujio, Hatun Wayq´o, among others.
